Our Story
Timplado began as the simple dream of two full-time nurses who were also navigating the joys and challenges of raising two small children. As a Filipino family living in the UK, we carried a deep longing for the familiar comfort of truly good, authentic longanisa and tocino — the kind we grew up eating back home. For years, we searched for that same flavour, that same feeling, but nothing ever came close. So, with homesickness pushing us forward and the desire to recreate the taste of home for our little family, we decided to make our own. What started as an occasional kitchen project became something much more when we shared it with friends, and they loved it just as much as we did. Their encouragement lit a spark, and from that spark, Timplado was born.
Today, Timplado is more than just Filipino breakfast meats — it’s a piece of home lovingly handcrafted for every Filipino longing for familiar flavours, and for every non-Filipino eager to discover them. Every batch is homemade using all-natural, premium ingredients, following traditional methods and taking no shortcuts. We pour our heart, time, and heritage into every pack, because we know what it feels like to miss home, and how powerful a single bite can be in bringing that feeling back.
